There’s two places that your data can be stored: your computer, or someone else’s computer (aka “the cloud”). Apple is effectively killing off the first option, so we don’t really have any choice other than to depend on service providers such as Fortmatic.

Hopefully, we can minimize the amount of data stored in these services, as well as use encryption to obfuscate that data from them.
